1. Introduction

The Minitor IV WinPPS is the Windows based pager programmer software (PPS).
It is an upgraded version of Minitor IV PPS (DOS based application) we previously
released. The Minitor IV WinPPS and interface package, combined with an IBM
personal computer (or compatible), provides the flexibility to program Motorola
Minitor pagers to meet individual requirements.

2. New Features

      Release 1.8.1 - September 2004, initial release

            - Easy to use
This Minitor IV WinPPS provides user friendly interfaces, and the interactive
Help System provides detailed information on how to program

            - USB support
Since some new computers only have USB port. The old DOS Minitor PPS can not
on that kind of machine. This version of PPS supports not only COM port, but also
the USB port. What the user need to do is to buy a USB to COM cable, connect this
cable to the USB port and connect the other end to the standard RS-232 serial cable
